The District Kiwanis Foundation is the charitable funding arm of Kiwanis in the New York District. The foundation, which receives its funding from Kiwanis Clubs, Kiwanians and from special events, supports several ongoing projects and makes specific grants.
The foundation is run by its own Board. Some members are elected directly by the district's Kiwanians, while others serve as a result of their positions in Kiwanis.
Major Projects:
The District Foundation awards the Kaiser Fellowships, named for Anton "Tony" Kaiser, past New York District Governor and Past International President. More information on the Kaiser Fellows and an application can be downloaded.
