The Goal: Provide a fully stocked backpack to every camper during the 2024 Kamp Kiwanis season.
The suggestions below are based on items we know for sure are needed (that are not in stock at Kamp). It might make more sense for clubs/divisions to go in together for bulk items/cases. Let's start collecting items now to be brought to Mid-Year Conference:
We know that a few of the above items are duplicates from what is suggested in the application, but it is okay if we have extras!
If your club sends Kampers with Backpacks, please know they will still get items from above, if needed.
If your club/division would prefer to send a MONETARY DONATION, that is appreciated as well. You can write a check payable to NY District Kiwanis - please include First Family's Project in the memo line. Mail to P.O. Box 428, Glen Cove, NY 11542.
