Students of the Year Honored

On May 21, The Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks and The Town of Webb Police Benevolent Association (PBA) recognized Cameron Guidry as Kiwanis Student of the Year and Schuyler Uzdavinis as TOW PBA Student of the Year. Cameron is the son of Meaghan Foley and Jarrod Guidry. Schuyler is the daughter of Barbara and Steven Uzdavinis. Both students are seniors at Town of Webb Union Free School in Old Forge.

President Carman Mastroianni presented an Award Certificate and $500 Scholarship to Cameron while Trevor Tormey, TOW School Resource Officer representing the PBA, presented an Award Certificate and $500 Scholarship to Schuyler. 

Cameron Guidry is president and member of Key Club. He participates in alpine skiing, track and field, and National Honor Society. Cameron plans to study biochemistry in college. Schuyler Uzdavinis is vice president of Key Club. She plays three varsity sports (alpine skiing, soccer, track and field) and participates in Science Club, Varsity Club, and National Honor Society, among other clubs. Schuyler plans to study environmental science in college.
