 The third annual Earth Day Poster Contest took place on the grounds of the Wartburg Residences in Mount Vernon. Children representing the Boys and Girls Club of Mount Vernon and Y-COP came after school to enjoy arts and crafts activity, including the chance to win trophies and prizes in a Kiwanis-sponsored Poster Contest. They displayed their artistic talents to promote Earth Day held on April 23. Above is the photo of the first, second, and third place winners and the posters they created. |
