On April 20, the new Kiwanis Club of Eastern Wayne received its charter during a event in Gananda.
The event also served as Gov. Lucien Giancursio's official visit to the Finger Lakes Division.
Kiwanians from around the division and elsewhere welcomed the new club, the third new club in the Finger Lakes Division in the past four years.
Eastern Wayne, based in Lyons, currently has 18 members.
