Members of the Aktion Club of Sullivan County recently donated needed winter attire to the Federation for the Homeless in Monticello. They distributed blankets, scarves, socks, hats, gloves, winter jacket, cans of soup as well as personal hygiene items. Director Kathy Kreiter stated they were very much needed and appreciated.

In addition to helping out the Federation, the members raised $215 for the WSUL Heart-a-thon by selling paper hearts to their friends and family. The donations were presented to Al Frangipane, the "Heart Man", and was given in honor and in memory of Walter Madden, Jr., a member of the club who had recently passed away and loved by all.
