Peninsula Kiwanis along with the Molloy Circle K assisted the National Council of Jewish Women with its annual Back 2 School Store July 30 at the Woodmere Middle School.
Peninsula Kiwanis has been a gold sponsor of the event since its inception. Peninsula provides funding, volunteers and help locate needy children for the event. The event allows disadvantaged children from the community to "go shopping" for school supplies, clothes, coats, shoes, etc. so they are ready for the upcoming school year. The child is empowered to make their own decisions.
Peninsula Kiwanis also provides a bus for the children who do not have transportation to the event.
