On Saturday, July 4, The Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks is sponsoring a Foof Kart Day. Kiwanis members and other volunteers will be at DiOrio's Supermarket in Old Forge, Kalil's Market in Inlet and Kinney Drugs in Old Forge. The Kiwanians have shopping carts available to collect food donations for the Webb Community Food Pantry.
Kiwanis volunteers will be in place from 8 a.m. until noon. At the end of the day, the food items will be delivered to the Webb Community Food Pantry, which is coordinated by Father Shane Lynch, at St. Bartholomew's Church in Old Forge for distribution as needed.
