The annual Senior Citizen Prom at North Shore High School took place on May 31.
The event is held directly after the Junior Prom so the set up and all the decorations from the Junior prom to include the tent in the high school courtyard is used for the gala affair. The hosts for the event are the North Shore Key Club members, who served more than 150 senior citizens from the surrounding communities.
The attendees danced to the music supplied by a DJ, dinner was also provided, raffle prizes were won and supplied by community venders in the area. The highlight and the special event of the prom was crowning the King and Queen who will ride in the North Shore homecoming parade in September.
