On Saturday, Dec. 20, the Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks, in cooperation with Bob Card and Helen Zyma of the Strand Theater, will sponsor their annual free Bob Thayer Memorial Holiday Movie for Kids.
The movie will be shown at 11 a.m. at The Strand Theatre in Old Forge. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m.
The movie will be "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb", an American comedy. It is the sequel to the 2009 film "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian".
The event is for children 12 and under with adult supervision. The children will each receive a drink and popcorn at no charge.
