The Kiwanis Club of Patchogue's Santa’s 5K Toy Trot will be on Sunday, Dec. 7, at Shorefront Park.
Up to 1,000 runners are expected for the event, each bringing an unwrapped toy for the club’s community toy drive. The race, which begins at 11 a.m., goes over a scenic course along Great South Bay. The event regularly attracts elite runners as well as hundreds of others from across Long Island.
