Winter is over and spring is here.  How do you know? The Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks Main Street Benches were being refurbished and made ready to be placed along Main St. in Old Forge.

The work is being done by members of the Town of Webb School Key Club with their Advisor Diane Amos along with help from Kiwanis members.

The benches were sanded and painted preparing them for assembly and will be placed along Main St. prior to Memorial Day so that weary visitors may have an opportunity to sit and rest.

Tom Smedley and Chris Kraft, Central Adirondack Kiwanis Main St. Bench co-chairs, want to thank the Key Club members for their work, Ace Hardware of Old Forge for donating the stain and Tony Harper's for the pizza lunch.
