Governor

Here we are half way through our year. Our Military Kids to Kamp Kiwanis project is moving along, but we still have a lot of work ahead of us. Lt. Gov. Kimberly Davis worked very hard and acquired a grant from Kiwanis International for our campers. Almost everyone is working hard.
Our membership drive is moving along. We have some divisions adding members frequently, and some divisions not so much. I know it's hard work but without new members we will fail as an organization. I get the new members the minute that application and add fee is in to Kiwanis International. I personally write and welcome each new member. I also write every sponsor and thank him or her for their dedication to the Kiwanis Family.
Remember every club with a gain in membership will receive a Governor's Project banner patch.
Every club that helps send military campers to Kamp Kiwanis will receive a Governor's Project banner patch
Every club that helps with crafts for Kamp Kiwanis will receive the First Lady's Project banner patch.
The lieutenant governor with the most new members will receive a $250 Best Buy gift card.
The lieutenant governor with the most Military Kampers will receive a $250 Best Buy gift card.
I know this incentive isn't much but it is a token of the First Lady and my appreciation for all that you do. I know we can make this an unforgettable year and I know we can go FROM GOOD TO GREAT. We are all HANKS HELPING HANDS.
