Price (at right) of the Southwest Rochester Kiwanis Club for the Terrific Kid Program at George Forbes School #4. Karon Jackson, the school's principal, introduced the program to Bocah, which has been in the school since 1991. The school was honored nationally for its improvement in "Closing the achievement gaps between their subgroups."

The Terrific Kid Program can not take all the credit for the improvement, but over the years the school has shown improvement in academics and attendance. The Southwest Kiwanis Club also has the program in schools #2, and #16 in the Rochester School District.
