District SLP Leaders Attend Conference

The New York District Kiwanis Service Leadership Team, led by Gov.-Elect Mike Malark, participated in a two-day intensive training program in Denver, Colorado, to advance the growth of sponsored youth programs. The program was organized by Kiwanis International and was attended by more than 150 North American SLP district administrators. The New York District delegation were present: seated, Joanne Underwood (Builders Club Administrator); newly appointed Key Leader Administrator Mary Jean Sprague; John Keegan (Circle K Administrator); standing are Gov.-Elect Mike Malark, Dr. Rosemary DeJulio (representing K-Kids); Past International Trustee Tom DeJulio (chairing the International SLP Committee); and Andy Lowenberg (Key Club Administrator). The New York team developed "action plans" for 2010-11 that would further the success of all branded Kiwanis programs.
