The new Kiwanis Club of Farmingdale held its Charter Night April 4, 2012, at Tre Scalini Restaurant in Farmingdale.
The club, part of the Long Island South Central Division of the NY District of Kiwanis International, is the first new Kiwanis Club in New York District this year. New York District Gov. Bill Risbrook joined with LISC Lt. Governor Dr. Steven Perrick and Charter President Georgiana Sena to welcome the new club, its members, officers and directors, to the Kiwanis Family.
The club meets at the Farmingdale Library at 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month, and at Tre Scalini at 6:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month.
