Snodeo Visitors Support Christmas Gifts

Each Christmas, Central Adirondack Kiwanis provides more than 975 gifts, toys, mittens and food for 55 families and more than 325 kids in the Central Adirondacks including Woodgate, Otter Lake, Thendara, Old Forge, Eagle Bay, Inlet, Racquette Lake, Indian Lake and Long Lake.

Funding for this program comes from various projects. Each year Kiwanis members solicit funds at the door of George T. Hiltebrant Recreation Center during the 40th Annual Central Adirondack Association Snodeo exposition.

Bob Stanton and Chris Kraft Co-Chairpersons of the Kiwanis Snodeo solicitation reports that this year more than $900 was collected.
