Peninsula Golf Outing Raises $10,000

The Peninsula Kiwanis Golf Outing was held at Woodmere Country Club on Aug. 16. The event raised more than $10,000 to help fund Peninsula Kiwanis projects. The club sent 52 underprivileged children to Kamp Kiwanis and is providing 270 backpacks with school supplies to disadvantaged children in the Hewlett, Lawrence and Lynbrook School Districts.
