Peninsula Kiwanis assisted the National Council of Jewish Woman with its annual Back 2 School Store on July 31.
Peninsula Kiwanis has been a gold sponsor of the event since its inception. Peninsula provides funding, volunteers and help locate needy children for the event. The event allows disadvantaged children from the community to "go shopping" for school supplies, clothes, coats, shoes, etc. so they are ready for the upcoming school year.
Peninsula Kiwanis also provides a bus for the children who do not have transportation to the event.
