On June 15 at Butera’s in Oceanside, Peninsula Kiwanis held its annual scholarship awards night. The club was joined by eight winners and their families as awards were presented to students from Hewlett and Lawrence High School in acknowledgement of their scholastic excellence and service to the community.
Each scholarship winner received a plaque to commemorate their award and $500 to help with their college expenses. This year’s winners were:
