The Monticello High School Key Club ended the 2015-16 school year of community service activities with a pizza party, recognition of outgoing officers and elections of officers for next year.

The outgoing officers, seniors Adrian Mierzwa, president; Cristiane Salcedo - vice president; Michele Rodriquez, Secretary and Jaclynn Sorensen, treasurer, each received a certificate of appreciation from Jane Sorensen, Monticello Kiwanis president and Sheila Lashinsky, Key Club advisor for Kiwanis.

All the seniors in the club were presented with a graduation cord by Key Club Faculty Advisors Candice Andrejcisk and Steven Raabe. These cords will be worn with their cap and gown at graduation in recognition of the dedication and commitment to service that these seniors demonstrated throughout the school year.   

The officers for 2016-17 will be Victoria Simonova, president; Sara Sorensen, vice president; Emma Silverstein, treasurer; and Thomas Cammerino and Lina Rios, co-secretaries.
