Fordham Kiwanis Honors Student-Athlete

club news

For the 25th consecutive year, Fordham Kiwanis cited a Fordham student-athlete for outstanding community service. This year's recipient is Women's Soccer player Bryce Debolt. The members of Fordham Kiwanis, comprised of university faculty, staff, and administrators, annually recognize student-athletes who not only excel in academics and in their respective sports, but who are also committed to performing community service.

Bryce has found a way to get more than 24 hours out of a day. Besides being a member of a varsity team, she is a Boyle Scholar and a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit Honor Society that makes weekly visits to assisted living facilities. She volunteers with "Back on My Feet", a running and community support group that helps individuals trying to escape the pattern of homelessness.

Bryce doesn't limit her community service to New York. When at home in Washington DC she volunteers at Martha's Table which aims to combat hunger among the homeless.

Fordham Kiwanis President Vin Lippiello presented the award to Bryce Debolt at the Annual Fordham Block F Dinner.
