The Connolly School K Kids recently completed a project making "Get Well Bears" for children who arrive at the Glen Cove Hospital Emergency Room. The purpose of this project was to put a smile on the faces of children who find themselves in the emergency room and need some comfort from a cuddly bear!
The K Kids Club is sponsored by the North Shore Kiwanis Club and hand in hand we work together to assist children in need. Shown accepting the handmade bears are two staff members from the emergency room: Diane Paez and Chenita Evans.
