Winter is over and spring is here. How do we know? The Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks Main Street benches have been refurbished and placed along Main Street in Old Forge.

The prep work was done by members of the Town of Webb School Key Club with their Advisor Diane Amos along with help from Kiwanis members.

The benches were cleaned and touch up paint applied preparing them for assembly.

Chris Kraft and Sharon Kleps, Central Adirondack Kiwanis Main St. Bench co- chairs want to thank the Key Club members for their work, Town of Webb Supervisor Ted Riehle and John Mitchell of Town of Webb Water Department for their cooperation and assistance with winter storage and Tony Harper's for donating the pizza snack.
