Division Sponsors a Tri-K Conference

On Nov. 5 the Bronx Westchester South Division had its annual Tri-K Family Meeting at the Pine Restaurant in the Bronx.

More than 125 attended. Lt. Gov. Rosemarie Cornacchio led the conference of 12 clubs and their sponsored youth from Fordham University Circle K club and 10 High School Key Clubs from Westchester and the Bronx.

The Kiwanis sponsored youth groups, including Builders Club, play a major role as volunteers performing community service. Lieutenant governors of Key Clubs in Division. 11, Aaron Cheung, and Division. 12, Diyu Pearce Fisher, delivered speeches setting the division Key Club goals for 2014-15.

Fordham Circle K Lt. Gov. Cecelia Kang, and Circle K President Michael Mainiero projected Circle K objectives. The Key Club presidents also announced their club's service projects of the 2014-15 school year.

The Kiwanis Sponsored Youth projects range from making Thanksgiving Baskets for the needy to participating in the Memory Walk for Alzheimer's.

This is the twentieth year of Tri- K Divisional Dinner Meetings hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Bronx Shore.
