The North Shore Kiwanis Club was proud to announce that Sea Cliff Elementary School K-Kids are Distinguished Club Award for their contribution to the community at large. They were also honored to receive second place status in the district scrapbook contest.
The K-Kids, with Faculty Advisor Mark Mihopulos at the helm, participated in numerous projects such as Down Syndrome Buddy Walk drive, Pennies for Patients with Cancer, Anti-Bullying Drive throughout the school, local Soup Kitchen Drive, assisted in project with a local meal delivery charity, collaborated with North Shore High School Key club for community service project, involved in a program helping and understanding Deaf Culture and ASL as a language used in the school, community, etc.
As a result, these children in grades 3-5, have exposure to others in need, then become involved in making the world a better place in which to live.
