On Sept. 18, the Oceanside Kiwanis Club celebrated its charter anniversary and presented some awards. Gov. Joe Aiello was on hand as well.
The club honored John Fellin as the 17th annual Heart of Gold Award. Angela Abend and Donna Migdol, two outstanding teachers from the Oceanside School District, were presented with a Special Service Award.
Gov. Joe then preented club President Tom Cesiro with the Governor's Award.
