Oceanside Kiwanis / Department of Community Activities 56th Annual Egg Hunt took place Saturday, April 12.

The Oceanside Kiwanis Club and the Oceanside Department of Community Activities held their annual Egg Hunt on School House green. The event started at 10:30 a.m. with a Special Needs Hunt and then at 11 a.m. the 3 and 4-year-olds went.  Every half hour we increase in age and ended at noon with 8 and 9 year-olds.

There were more than 500 people and 2,800 eggs. We had a special guest hopping around to say hello to the kids and special prices for anyone who found the golden ticket.

The Oceanside High School Key Club helped with the event and with the preparation, as more than 2,800 eggs were stuffed.
