Bowling Green K-Kids Complete Pennies for Patients Campaign

Just before Spring recess, the Bowling Green K-Kids completed their first school-wide Pennies for Patients Campaign for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. K-Kids Campaign Chairperson Grace McGeough led the campaign from kicking off the campaign by stuffing teachers’ mailboxes with collection boxes and campaign literature to bringing it to a successful conclusion by picking up classroom collection boxes. Grace also made morning announcements throughout the campaign to encourage student participation.

When all the classroom collection boxes were counted, Bowling Green had 4 classrooms that achieved Bronze Pennants for donations between $100 - $199 and one classroom that earned a Gold Pennant for a donation over $300.

The Bowling Green K-Kids also offered a trophy to the Top Donor Classroom.

In total, Bowling Green K-Kids Pennies for Patients campaign raised over $2,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
