Come join us for a summer of fun at Kamp Kiwanis!

Kamp Kiwanis is located in Taberg, N.Y. Staff at Kamp reside at the kamp during weekly sessions with time off daily and one day on the weekend. Lodging and meals are included. Kamp Kiwanis is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

The first two weeks of kamp are for adults with developmental disabilities. The main population served by Kamp Kiwanis is underprivileged youth with and without special needs. Kamp sessions will end Aug. 21.

Position Openings

The following positions are open:

Counselor (Male): Must have experience or a desire to work with children and adults that are underprivileged and may have special needs. Must have a specialty in one of the following areas: waterfront, sports, arts and crafts and music/dance/drama, fluent in either Spanish or American Sign Language. Will live in a cabin with the Kampers; must be 18 or older. Kamp

EMT (Male): Must have NY license. Will help to run the camp health center under the direction of the Health Supervisor. Must live on site during sessions on our boys hill with male staff. Will distribute medications and will provide first aid as needed; must be 21 or older.

Nature Director/WSI: Plans, directs and supervises the camp's fishing and nature program. Must be currently certified in ARC Lifeguarding and WSI. Must be college student or at least 21 years old.

Boys Unit Leader: Head Counselor for a specific age group, supervises staff and cabins of children, responsible for parent and agency contacts. Must be at least 21 years old.
