Past Lt. Governors' MeetingThis is your call to the Past Lt. Governor's meeting at the 2012 Mid-Year Conference in Albany at 2:45 p.m. on Friday Feb. 24 in the Capital Room. The event will be presided over by DPG and former Lt. Governor Joseph Corace.
Agenda items include, but are not limited to:
- Voluntary payment and collection of PLG Council membership dues of the sum of $10.
- Discussion of $1,100 disbursement to send two veterans' children to Kamp Kiwanis, the check for which will be presented by DPG Joe Corace to Governor Risbrook.
- After deduction for the above noted disbursement, there will remain $175.
- Nominations for the President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer of the Past Lt. Governor's Council of the NY District, the term for which is one year, with those elected to such offices being nominated and voted upon at Mid-Year, but not taking office until the District Convention. DPG Joe Corace will solicit nominations from the floor for each of the three positions, and those present will vote for their candidate of choice. The incumbent slate is honored to again present themselves as candidates for re-election. The slate of incumbent officers consists of:
- President: Kevin Regan, DPLG, Long Island South Central/Levittown
- Vice President: Jack Hanrahan, DPLG, Niagara Frontier/Lewiston
- Secretary/Treasurer: Edward B (Woody) Ryder, DPLG, L.I. North/Oyster Bay
- Any additional business which may be brought upon the floor by the Past Lieutenant Governors in attendance.
